There's nothing we like better than running focus groups: teens with attitude, hospital consultants, risky drivers: bring them on! Online communities, mobile ethnography, co-creation - and stakeholder workshops are all established techniques in Fizz Research's toolkit: we can advise which methodology (or combination of these) is best placed to most efficiently and cost-effectively reveal critical insights to leverage brand growth.
On reflection, there's one thing we do like as much as running groups - and that's deciding how to approach an insight challenge - are quantitative or qualitative techniques best suited? Is original research necessary or can we utilise already-existing data to derive the required insight and direction?
Consumers and shoppers are great at telling us what they do now - and we can use innovative techniques to discover why they really do the things they do (what they are wanting to achieve). They're not so good at predicting what they will do 'tomorrow' - as tech. innovations and cultural trends bring new opportunities for brands. We have various methods to help turn consumer 'insight' into commercial 'foresight'. We are acutely aware of the limitations of consumer research and work eclectically to ensure consumer input is supplemented by complementary marketing and strategic consultancy - to future-proof our recommendations.
